Training & Qualification

The Safe Driver Training Program focuses on driver awareness, incorporating hazard and risk identification through proactive vision and modification of driving behaviour, through sound perception and analysis of the on-road risks. This course will assist in identifying and changing personal attitudes, individual and group behaviours as well as organizational culture.

Operating in an off road environment can be much more of a high risk activity than normal driving, especially in the case of the vehicle becoming immobilised. This course teaches personnel who are required to drive in an off road environment how to operate the vehicle safely, and recover the vehicle should the need arise.

This is the cornerstone of the SafeDrive suite of Defensive Driving Courses. The course teaches trainees appropriate attitudes and develops driving skills. The assessment comprises a driving skill assessment delivered to the Assessor by the Trainee to confirm training. This course is suitable for those personnel required to drive during the course of their occupation and those commuting to and from their place of work even if they aren’t required to drive at work.

Driving a bus requires a unique skill set. In driving a bus you are responsible for the safe and efficient transit of passengers often in heavy traffic and in a larger than normal vehicle.
