Overview
The MiX Telematics range of products and services is sold in over 75 countries and boasts an installed base of approx. 500 000 fleet management and vehicle tracking units worldwide. The gropuhas offices in South Africa, the UK, Germany, the USA, the UAE and Australia. and a global dealer network. MiX Telematics listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (under the short code MIX) in November 2007.
MiX Telematics and SafeDrive Internaitonal
In 2008, MiX Telematics acquired SafeDrive International (MiX Telematics). Prior to the acquisition, MiX Telematics was a long-standing partner of MiX Telematics, providing specialised solutions into the oil 'n gas market using the technology developed by MIX Telematics. The acquisition enables both companies to extend the SafeDrive model and practices globally through the established MiX Telematics network.

SafeDrive International was formed in January 2002 after professionals from the field of land transport risk management, fleet management, competency based training and assesment and behavioural psychology aligned.
